Hello, I'm Kailyn!
I was born and raised in Southern California and am currently loving life in Oregon wine country. On a given day, I can be found adventuring in the beautiful Pacific Northwest with my partner Austin, teaching new circus tricks to our dog Pacha, or reading something intriguing.

Why design?
My therapist mother's words are always in my head: "Put yourself in their shoes." From day one, I was raised to empathize with others' experiences, to cultivate authentic connections.
I apply my design skills to ultimately empower the people on the other side of the screen. Whether I'm actively listening to users in weekly interview sessions, brainstorming with product managers to visualize the next wave of product iterations, or engaging with engineering through implementation – I'm showing up every day to serve the end-user.
I believe joy is our reason for living. The privilege of design is that I'm at the forefront of creating positive experiences for people, and I take that responsibility to heart. When I can help to make just one person's day better, I've fulfilled my purpose!
